Think you know England? Think again! Take a gander into the nooks and crannies of the country – take St Ives for example! This little British town in the county of Cornwall offers boutique-lined streets and scrumptious seafront snacks. Don’t fancy a seaside getaway? How about you visit some truly gob-smacking architecture, like the minster-piece of York or Brighton’s whopping Pavilion! You can even mix it up in Bristol’s trendy harbourside or take a walk around Cheddar Gorge (sorry, no cheese tastings, but lots of epic views!). England’s small enough to make it easy, but big enough to keep you guessing! With fully escorted coach tours or breezy self-drive options, all you need for these holidays is a suitcase and a sense of adventure!

London’s palaces aren’t just buildings – they’re living legends that should be top priority on your bucket list!
Clovelly
Nestled on a dramatic 400-foot cliff, this ancient fishing village is all about those iconic cobbled streets – no vehicles allowed! At Clovelly’s base, the harbour and pebble beach await, along with the friendly local pub ready to dish up delectable, fresh-caught seafood.
RHS Rosemoor
Every season brings its own splash of colour to this botanical wonderland! Each garden is lovingly looked after, such as the Fruit and Vegetable Garden, where nature’s candy is grown, and the Rose Gardens, that promise a ‘blooming’ good time!
Torquay
This cherished holiday destination has been drawing crowds like moths to a flame for years. Many of our hassle-free coach trips to Devon glide right into Torquay, where visitors can bask on the Torre Abbey Sands or navigate the lively Harbour and marina.
One of the best things about travelling? The food, of course! Every destination has its own favourites – the dishes locals swear by and visitors can’t stop talking about. To make things easier, we’ve picked out four must-try treats from this region, with a little flavour of what they’re all about.
So… which one’s making your mouth water?
Pop the kettle on for a cuppa and tuck into the nation’s proudest plateful – the Full English breakfast! This classic dish brings together sausages, bacon, toast, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, black pudding and baked beans. Served far and wide with very few changes made, it’s Britain’s morning masterpiece!
The Sunday roast is a beloved British tradition – a plate piled high with roasted meat (beef’s the classic), creamy mash, roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, herby stuffing and seasonal veg, and a splash of gravy over the lot. On the side, you’ll often find mint or apple sauce, and maybe a bit of horseradish.
‘Bangers’ (that’s sausages – usually pork!) are teamed up with a hearty helping of mashed potatoes. The whole lot’s drizzled with a generous amount of rich gravy, with a side of veg. It’s warm, filling, and famously generous in size!
Some say it was born in Glasgow, others swear by its roots lie in the South Asian community of Britain. Wherever this curry came from, it’s now a firm favourite across England. Creamy and mild, chicken tikka masala is often compared to Indian butter chicken –best served with rice, naan, and a napkin at the ready!
